Anne Ruthling
Anne Ruthling is the daughter
of Robert H. Harkins and Julia Teevan.
Robert and Julia both emigrated from Ireland and came to the United States in the 1920’s. Anne married Carleton Ruthling and is the mother to Fritz Ruthling and Carl Ruthling. Growing up in New York she always had a knack for business and did exceptionally well as a real estate broker.
Pre-law Studies
Anne attended Trinity University-Washington in the 1950’s. After graduating she then went to Georgetown University and did pre-law studies. Further education with two masters in business. The first MBA was from Marymount University with a specialty in Economics. The second MBA was from Marymount College Manhattanville College.
Real Estate
Anne’s calling was in real estate and she entered the market as a broker in the 1970’s for a firm called Town and Country. She soon exceled at this calling earning the ͞million dollar͟ club every year since then. She has been the top agent and manager of a number of offices. More recently Anne was at Coldwell Banker Residential Brokers starting at 2000. She was an associate broker there and top producer real estate agent.
She stayed with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage for 10 years. While there she received a congratulatory letter from the then CEO and President of NRT. The President’s name was Mr. Bruce Zipf. Bruce congratulated Anne for placing at #728 among the company’s 45,000 sales agents. This meant she placed in the top 2% of all the agents. NRT also owns Coldwell Banker. NRT is the largest real estate firm and brokerage company in the United States
ACCA
Anne has supported numerous social and community activites. She was instrumental in the growth of Hotline, a crises call in service for youth at risk. She also helped found Annandale Christian Community for Action ACCA.
She is currently retired in the state of Florida in Palm City.
